Mai Amy Ha, MD, a Hospice/Palliative Care specialist and mother of three, has survived one of the most challenging years of her 24 year career. Along with managing her very ill patients, she also was studying for her board recertification exam and caring for two sick family members, coping with the constant stress and anxiety of keeping her loved ones safe.

"I would be very hesitant to go because I was in the hospital the day before, then I'd have to go take care of the family member, not knowing if I had the virus or not, even though I was protected," she said. "It was overwhelming."

Hear how Ha has redefined her idea of success during the pandemic.
