As a teacher, May Tsupros quickly learned that her students lacked the knowledge and accessibility to healthy, nutritious food. That led her to co-founding Gardeneers, a food education program that offers students the support and opportunity to grow school gardens. Tsupros believes food equity is a foundational element to achieving educational equity.
