Longtime journalist Anissa Gray parlays passion for reading into new career as a novelist

Anissa Gray finished graduate school with a master's in English and went on to work as a print reporter at Reuters, covering global financial news. She later moved into broadcast journalism, joining CNN as a writer, editor and producer, where she received both Emmy and duPont Awards for her contributions. After 20 years as a news journalist, Anissa pursued her passion for storytelling and wrote her first novel The Care and Feeding of Ravenously Hungry Girls, which was published in early 2019.
