Even as a young girl in Brooklyn, Sherry Yard was experimenting in the kitchen and the garden. Fast-forward to today; she's now the recipient of three James Beard awards and has worked for 20 years alongside Wolfgang Puck. Also an author, Yard has published Desserts by the Yard; From Brooklyn to Beverly Hills; Recipes from the Sweetest Life Ever; and The Secrets of Baking: Simple Techniques for Sophisticated Desserts.
