Did you see Mary McDonnell on this episode of Touched by an Angel?

When you see Mary McDonnell, the first character that most likely comes to mind is Sharon Raydor. She's the Commanding Officer of the LAPD's Major Crimes Division on Major Crimes, but she first appeared as the character on The Closer.

For fans of crime dramas, McDonnell is the woman Andy Flynn truly loved. But did you know she also appeared on a '90s show, playing a character far from her law enforcement role? It's a surprising twist you might not have expected, although the roles are years apart.

In the Touched by an Angel episode, "Minute by Minute," McDonnell's ability to play versatile roles is truly impressive. She plays a nun with a dark past who tries to stop two boys from blowing up a high school.
