For Miguel Cervantes, success came later in life. The Broadway actor who stars as Alexander Hamilton in the Chicago production of "Hamilton" credits his parents and especially his wife for not letting him give up on his dream. As the proud father of two children, Cervantes faced the biggest challenge of his life while auditioning for the "Hamilton" role. While at his final audition in front of Lin Manuel Miranda, his infant daughter was in the hospital undergoing serious medical testing. Her fight and subsequent diagnosis of epilepsy gave Cervantes the strength to land the role and today, he and his wife Kelly use their voices to raise awareness and funds for the disease.
